Ballast Water/Eutrophic Water/Oil Exploitation Sewage Treatment System
Ballast/Eutrophic Water Treatment System Ultrasonic Electrolysis Water Processing System (WTS-1)

Giant Lift Co., Ltd.
WTS-1 Eutrophic water / Ballast Water Treatment System
Product Application:

1. Oil Exploitation Sewage treatment and refill.
Present days Oilfield extraction basically uses water injection. After separating the produced oil-water mixture, there will be mass generation of wastewater that need to be reinject into the formation in order to supplement the pressure of the formation (Prevent land subsidence) also to avoid environmental pollution. We must flocculate, separate, and kill saprophytic bacteria (TGB) and sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) from oily wastewater before reinject into the formation.
With the development of oilfields, the water content of crude oil continues to rise, and the amount of water extracted from the oilfields is also increasing rapidly. The contradiction of high processing costs has become increasingly prominent. In order to kill saprophytic bacteria (TGB) and sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB)adding a large amount of chemicals not only creates a great damage to the environment but also has high operating costs.

By using our WTS-1 System with micro-current catalytic electrolysis technology, through the catalytic micro-current electrolysis to produce highly active oxidants ClO-, OH, H2O2, (O)
Oxidize the saprophytic bacteria (TGB) and sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) in the wastewater to kill the microorganisms. At the same time, the heavy metal ions are reduced and removed at the cathode. The operating cost is low and no chemicals are required which will be saving lots of funds.

Our products have been deployed in several major oil fields in China.
2.  Ballast water treatment
Ballast water, which is often taken on in the coastal waters in one region after ships discharge wastewater or unload cargo and discharged at the next port of call, wherever more cargo is loaded. Ballast water discharge typically contains a variety of biological materials, including plants, animals, viruses, and bacteria. These materials often include non-native, nuisance, exotic species that can cause extensive ecological and economic damage to aquatic ecosystems, along with serious human health issues including death.

Ballast Water Management Convention is the rule set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for the protection of the marine environment. Ballast water of any navigable (transnational) ship must be treated to fulfill the standards to be discharged or set sail, in order to prevent the transfer of pests and bacteria through the ballast water led to ecological disasters or the spread of pests and bacteria.

So, ballast water discharges by ships can have a negative impact on the marine environment.
Our ultrasonic electrolysis system, by means of the catalytic electrolysis, the equivalent amount of highly active oxide (ClO-, .OH, H2O2, (O)) and the reduction of H2 to be produced, due to the differences in reaction kinetics, so that the highly reactive oxygen species (ClO-, H2O2, (O)) to oxidize the bacteria and pests in the ballast water body and make them inactivated and killed quickly, with low operation cost and without any additives needed for efficient inactivation treatment.
Our system can be used as shore-based ballast water treatment system. In order to provide services for large vessels, speed up the processing speed, you can purchase and setup multiple units and use in parallel.

Our product has also been deployed in several major ports in China.

3. Eutrophic Water treatment
(Cyanobacteria/Red tide Treatment)
When the water body is discharged into a large amount of nitrate and phosphate, the water is eutrophic, the blue bacteria is overproduced, covering the water and forms a variety of different colors of the water. In the freshwater domain, it called "Water Bloom", and in the seawater called "red tide", which may also cause "red lake" in the Salt Lake. Blue bacteria that can form "water bloom" include some of the genus (anabaena), shavulatoria. "Water bloom" formed by blue bacteria often has a poisonous, such as the bronze micro cylacene (Microcystis Aeruginosa) and Aphanizomenon flos-aquae, etc., poultry or livestock will be died after drink this water in an hour or less. Even a few minutes it can be poisoned, and which also cause aquatic organism (such as fish) to death. Since a large number of blue bacteria covers the water, which hinders the oxygen dissolved into water, with a large number of blue bacteria is corrupt due to death, the water body is getting to be bad odor. Therefore, eutrophication water is a very serious problem.
We use catalytic electrolysis equipment to be mounted on a movable boat, by which a high reactive oxidants (CLO-,  •OH, H2O2, (O)) that produces in catalytic electrolysis,  it can quickly cause oxidation of bacteria, microbes and killed them in the water.  Low operating cost, no agents needed. Effective cyanobacteria suppression is performed for a certain area of water body. Furthermore, blue algae prevention and treatment of large area water can also be achieved by multiple sets.
